The media and creative sector covers a wide range of industries from TV production and journalism to graphic design and advertising.
Media can refer to industries such as television, radio and newspapers whilst creative refers to industries such as graphic design, art and photography.
The atmosphere within media and creative companies tends to me more casual than you will find in a more corporate industry such as banking and finance. Where corporate working days can be very rigid and office based, media working days can be more varied and less structured.
